Sue gives a presentation in a team meeting. Her supervisor, Jim, responds:
“Babe, that’ll NEVER work!. What the hell were you thinking?!”
Sue now has to decide whether to respond, react, ignore it, complain later, or escalate to HR.
Most teams have no agreed process for handling that small moment fairly and in real time.
If Sue, Jim and the team had already agreed to use SpatzAI, Sue could simply verbally caution him:
“Caution.”
That mildly objects to Jim’s behaviour and delivery, without challenging his right to disagree.
If Jim acknowledges it, the conversation continues. If he ignores or challenges her caution, Sue can escalate later, through the SpatzChat app. If they still cannot resolve it, the spat can be posted automatically to their Slack page for their team & AI to review.
SpatzAI gives teams an agreed process for resolving micro-conflicts before they become formal grievances.
This logic already works elsewhere.
Toyota uses Andon to stop problems early.
Referees use their whistle and cards to address unfair challenges.
Aviation uses structured challenge to question authority safely. Procedural-fairness research shows people respond better to agreed, transparent processes.
ie. while singing from the same hymn book.
SpatzAI applies the same principle to workplace conversations.
Don’t wait for a small spat to become an HR incident.
Enable your team to address, and resolve minor spats before they escalate.
