I think we often confuse criticism with course correction.
Criticism usually comes after frustration has built up.
“I’m sick of you always doing that.”
By then, several incidents may have accumulated, emotions are higher, and the discussion can easily become about the person rather than the behavior.
SpatzAI takes a different approach.
A simple verbal “Caution” ⚠️ is an agreed real-time or early intervention between team members.
It isn’t intended as criticism. It’s a small behavioural adjustment while the issue is still small.
If the caution is accepted and acknowledged, everyone moves on.
If the caution is challenged, the issue can be escalated to a more formal Objection procedure using the SpatzChat app and, eventually, transparently reviewed by their team, plus the SpatzAI, and in accordance with the standard team charter.
Importantly, the issuer’s objection itself is also reviewed. If it was unjustified or unfair, that needs to be acknowledged instead.
The goal isn’t to criticise each other.
The goal is to recalibrate each other’s behavior, early.
It’s the behavior, stupid!.
