
How many workplace team members does it take to screw up addressing misbehavior in a meeting?
Five billion….ha!
That’s because every human on the planet seems to have their own specific way of handling a spat. Some avoid it. Some explode. Some smile and stew. Others call HR. Few actually address it fairly, in the moment.
That’s the hidden flaw in most workplace cultures, we talk endlessly about psychological safety, but we still leave it up to individuals to decide how to deal with friction with fellow team mates. Without a shared process, fairness becomes random and accountability optional.
If you asked five employees how they’d handle a tense moment in a meeting, you’d get five slightly different answers. Scale that to the working world, and you’ve got roughly five billion different versions of micro-conflict resolution, none of them consistent, measurable, or teachable.
That’s why I’m building SpatzAI, a concept software that helps teams address minor spats or micro-conflicts before they become major conflicts. It gives every team a simple, standardized way to object to behavior, fairly, proportionately, and without blame.
Leaders don’t need to referee every disagreement. They just need to choose the right system, one that lets teams self-correct in a standard way instead of self-destruct in uncertainty.
