I just saw this sign (slightly modified) in the city of Darwin. It occurred to me that we are bombarded with instructions to be cautious for hundreds of things, and rightly so. However, I have never seen a sign for the one caution for a behavior that I believe is responsible for more deaths and injuries than any other hazard in the world. Disagreeing!
When we disagree, the vast majority of disputes and conflicts occur.
In fact, can you tell me one dispute that doesn’t happen without a disagreement?
And yet, when was the first or last time you saw a sign or post with this prescient reminder?
